About Me
My Story
Throughout my life, I’ve approached every challenge with enthusiasm, creativity, and ceaseless desire to achieve success. This passion and drive have paved the way for countless opportunities, unique experiences and exceptional relationships both personally and professionally.
My Professional Vision
Computer Science undergraduate in my pre-final year and one of the very few students to intern at Microsoft in the 2nd year itself
with the job title of "Data and Applied Scientist". I have experience working on deep learning based products with special interest
in NLP and Information Retrieval techniques to create a pipeline. I also share my interest in mobile app development and consider
myself good enough for all kinds of software development tasks as well.

My Experience
Projects And Internships

Natural Language Processing Research Project
September 2018 - September 2019

MENTORED BY: DR. MANOJ AGARWAL {PRINCIPAL RESEARCH SCIENTIST (RESEARCH AND AI), HYDERABAD, INDIA}
-
My responsibility included collecting DBLP dataset with abstract, title, citation network, authors.
-
It was a Sequence Models and statistical language modeling based project aiming at building a system for EXPERT FINDING problem using Attention Encoder-Decoder (RNN comprising of bidirectional-LSTMs) with CopyNet layer for keyphrase generation over the text of papers from DBLP-dataset and train FastText model on the text to get word embeddings of the keyphrases,i.e.create a Computer Science Dictionary to convert extracted keywords to embedding.
-
Later NMSLIB(An efficient similarity search library and a toolkit for evaluation of k-NN methods for generic non-metric spaces) is used to get the nearest neighbor evaluation with Cosine Similarity as Distance Metrics.
-
Now, the end goal of dividing papers into topics based on ACM-Library is achieved so when a query is parsed, papers belonging to its nearest neighbor topics are considered for the Ranking Algorithm to get the Experts in that Domain.

Data and Applied Scientist Internship (BING Team)
I have worked on a project named: News Query Timeline
Under: Dr. Manoj Agarwal
This was a pure IR based project where I made a pipeline that was capable of identifying unique bursty patterns from the user queries and mine trending topics from them. I was able to identify interesting events(news related) from these topics. For these topics(aka events) Event profiles were build using the URLs that were associated and this was used to present best Urls that were covering entire gist of the events occurring over one day's delay. I created a timeline experience for each interesting events lasting over multiple days.

• Using Quantitative approach and developing Trading Algorithms (alphas) to deploy systematic investment strategies focused on market inefficiencies across US, Asia and Europe equities.
• Using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to model and predict market movements and develop quantitative strategies for efficiently trading equities.
• Researching financial literature to seek out sources of alpha and aggregating these signals into robust models, with the objective of achieving high Sharpe ratios and significant abnormal returns.
